The Liberty Coalition recently sent a letter to Senators Reid and McConnell strongly urging them to oppose provisions of housing legislation that recently passed the Senate Banking Committee that would establish a mandatory fingerprint registry for thousands of American workers neither convicted nor even suspected of a crime.

Several organizations have sent a letter to Congress strongly urging representatives to oppose legislation recently outlined by Senator Bond to amend the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

Dear Senator,

This letter is to express our support for the Commerce Committee’s leadership in including “best practices” whistleblower protections in S. 2663, legislation to strengthen the Consumer Product Safety Commission. This is vitally needed legislation to protect America’s families, and whistleblower protection is a necessary enforcement cornerstone for the promise of reform to be reflected in reality.
