We all hear daily reports of thousands of identities being compromised on a daily basis.  The Privacy Rights Clearinghouse estimates that since January, 2005 there have been more than 217 million instances of "Data Breach," or individuals whose sensitive personal information has been compromised, exposed, or stolen.  I

 Legislation Addressing National Security Letters

Unfortunately,( or not) I do not get to see all of the hearings in the House and Senate that I would like to be able to. Fortunately, for me, others do attend and are able to keep track of the substance of the various hearings. Two hearings, I would have like to have seen as reported in the August 27th issue of the American Conservative magazine

This is an issue that should transcend partisan interests. It does not matter which party is in power. Power itself needs to be checked and one of the ways to do that is to protect those brave men and women who come forward to blow the whistle on waste, fraud and abuse.

The REAL ID is basically an internal travel passport which gives the false sense of improving security while diminishing it in the process.

It's funny...it would be nice if all of our favorite website got all the love and affection they really deserve every day, and I am always glad when a site that serves the world like LibertyCoalition.net gets updated and upgraded. Up until this point in time, LibertyCoalition.net was really in a birthing process as far as the use of the website's technology was concerned. At this point it is safe to call this the official 2.0 release of the LC.net. Here are a few of the things that we add in this upgrade:
