Privacy Report Card for
the Obama Administration

EPIC and the Privacy Coalition will release the Privacy Report Card for the Obama
Administration at the National Press Club on Wednesday, September 9, 2009. The
Press Club is located at 529 14th Street, NW, Washington, D.C. Registration begins at
8:30 am ET. The event begins at 9:00 am ET. The event will be held in the First
Amendment Lounge
The results of the Privacy Report Card survey will be released. A team of privacy
experts will also discuss the Administration’s performance on several critical
privacy issues, including Consumer Privacy, Medical Privacy, Civil Liberties, and
Cyber Security. Speakers include Lillie Coney, Electronic Privacy Information Center
(EPIC); Susan Grant, Consumer Federation of America; Ed Mierzwinski, U.S. PIRG;
Michael Ostrolenk, Liberty Coalition and Association of American Physicians and
Surgeons; and Chip Pitts, Bill of Rights Defense Committee.
There will be a teleconference at 11 am ET for journalists unable to attend the
