Tell the AG: Stop Retaliation at the FBI!

Take Action!  Email Attorney General Mukasey and tell him that the must not tolerate further retaliation against Special Agent Bassem Youssef by his managers in the Counterterrorism Division.

On May 21st, many of you watched as FBI Supervisory Special Agent Bassem Youssef risked his career to tell the American people the truth - that the critical FBI units responsible for defending America against another al Qaeda attack are drastically understaffed and ill-trained. He also testified of the retaliation and discrimination he and other agents have faced from their managers. His testimony was riveting and powerfully supported by internal FBI emails, which he read to members of the House Judiciary Committee.

As a result of his testimony, a bi-partisan group of Senators and Congressmen (including Senate Judiciary Chairman Patrick Leahy, House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers, and Senator Charles Grassley) have called on the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to launch a "comprehensive review of the FBI's human capital management strategy."

Take Action! Email Attorney General Mukasey Today!

While these developments are a certainly a major victory, we must also be mindful of the consequences that they will have for Special Agent Youssef. His career is on the line every day when he walks into FBI Headquarters, and we are asking you to Take Action to help protect him from retaliation.
